An early-morning first look and portrait session in the bush before an intimate family ceremony at their country home in Bonville.

It was the ding of a dating app that heralded in a new chapter for Claire and Philip and a long dog walk that sealed the deal.

I’ve been lucky enough to know Claire since we were ratty little kids at pony club (even once galloping bareback to her house with my purple sparkly makeup kit in hand to respond to a formal makeup “emergency”).

Claire and Philip chose to celebrate their love with an intimate early morning first look and portrait session (10/10 recommend), a pitstop at Bonville Servo for a necessary coffee, then a family-only ceremony in Philip’s parent’s backyard, before a breakfast feast.

Then we all went home for a nap before returning to boogie the night away with pizza, cocktails and jelly shots galore.

It was a perfect day for two wonderful humans and it was an incredible honour to be there to document it.
